Consumerism Commentary: Apologies to Internet Explorer Users: SiteMeter Broke Consumerism Commentary

SiteMeter, when I was deciding some years ago, was the one that seemed to be the best, among the free counters.

I just found out about this, via Bill Dennis (Peoria Pundit), who linked to 'Twitter' postings, about Sitemeter:

That's where I found this entry.

Thanks again for the extended info... But I wish my blogging rate was such for which something like this still mattered. :-(

    :-( :-( :-(

Of late, it feels like a number software companies out there are forcing user's hand to make the switch to FireFox sooner rather than later... This is just another example of it -- and it's driving me nuts...

But if countless IE users continue to see the "Operation aborted" error with every other site they view, well, the FireFox users won't be in the minority for long...

The ultimate fix, sitemeter.com is the problem. If you go into your internet explorer security settings and add the following to restricted sites then the page loads.

I wish I had found this post the other day. I couldn't figure out what the heck was going on with my blog.
