i am thinking of getting one of those e book readers. I am still contending with myseslf as to whether or not i need it since my laptop works perfectly with e books and i still use it for other things

I haven't had the privilege of buying a reader yet but would love to give it a go. It's great that with Google Books you won't have to use a specific device.

I love my Kindle, but it's not worth putting on a credit card. If you have the extra cash -- especially if you travel a lot -- it will be the most worthwhile item you buy this year. It's become my "must have" device for travel. Still -- pay down debt first, and pay cash for it.
